Captain Jarad "Dingo" Boshammer has been a licensed captain for 27 years. At age 16 he started traveling the world chasing billfish. Dingo as his friends call him now resides in Jupiter, Florida. He settled down in this small town to raise a family and choose a different path for his fishing career. When he is not guiding Dingo can be found on his Chittum flats skiff fishing every chance he gets. Dingo loves fishing his local waters and towing his skiff to find large Snook, Tarpon, Redfish and every other species of sports fish that can be reached within a 4 hour radius of Jupiter. Dingo's travels have taken him to the Great Barrier Reef Australia for fifteen heavy tackle seasons chasing Giant Black Marlin. Nine summers in Kona Hawaii targeting thousand pound Pacific Blue Marlin. New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Ghana Africa, Bermuda, Ocean City Maryland, Cape Hatteras, The florida Keys, Texas, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, The Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Panama and Costa Rica. He fished along side his father Sid and helped pioneer the Australian flats fishery at Fraser Island. He was involved with four world records on fly for Tom Evans, 8 pound tippet Black Marlin, 12 pound tippet Black Marlin, 12 pound tippet Stripped Marlin and the 20 pound tippet Short Nosed Spearfish. In 1998 Dingo was apart of the team to release the most Black Marlin caught on IGFA Fly tackle with 5 releases in a single day. In 2005 Dingo helped the owners of Southern Exposure take their 58 ft Jarret Bay from Hatteras to Bermuda and win the Bermuda Triple Crown. One of the Blue Marlin that lead them to victory was one of a double header and weighed in at 1023 pounds. In 2006 Dingo fished on Cristal Clear for the Billfish Extreme Release League and was broadcasted on ESPN. His talents in angling and teasing fish helped lead the team to a second place finish in the seven month long offshore tournament. Recently his travels have taken him to Nova Scotia fishing for Giant Bluefin Tuna. With over twenty releases of Giant Bluefin Tuna up to 1200#. Dingo has been involved with the capture of 153 Marlin between 700 and 1300 pounds. 25 of those over the magic 1000 pounds.
